FUNDBÜRO: 53rd St. IND NYC Subway Station handmade signage

Thanks to So Much Pile Up Blog i can present here the few pictures of creating process of this amazing handmade signage.
According to the Blog, "in 1977, graphic designer Robert Propper of Propper/Elman Design/Planning (...) was approached by the Public Arts Council of the NYC to redesign subway stations, transforming them from drab underground waiting rooms into vibrant public art spaces. Over the course of two weeks, Propper, aided by a small group of Pratt students and armed with paint, brushes, and masking tape, turned the 53rd St. IND Station into a colorful wonderland."
I am gojng to think about a 'masking tape and paint project' of my own. I kind of forgot how much i used to enjoy using stancils and paint.
